Our Core focus:

In line with the three major indices for measuring Human Development: Wellbeing, Education, and Standard of living (Income), our core focus is three thronged: Core value Development, Leadership Development and Employment Creation; with a belief that these have a major impact in the development and empowerment of an individual. These are all incorporated in each of our service offerings.

Philosophy:

According to the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), statistics has shown that for close to a decade, Nigeria ranks 161 out of the 189 countries in Human Development Index (male and female); which is key to national development and advancement. This places Nigeria in the low human development category. With a population of over 216 million, and 49% being females, the need for investment in building human capital is not far-fetched. Hitherto, less importance has been laid on the development and empowerment of the average young woman due to several factors which has ultimately led to low productivity, loss of values, moral decadence and reduced power of contribution of these women in organizations and society.

E-Circle Foundation, has designed practical solutions, programs and projects targeted at developing the capacity of the average young woman in Nigeria, in order to improve the standard of living, leadership, earning capacity, and their power of effective contribution to society.

Our goal:

To develop and empower at least one hundred and twenty thousand (120, 000) young women in ten years, by deploying tools and resources that will ensure they become women of influence; bringing about positive change wherever they find themselves; while empowering others to do the same.

Our Footprint

Since inception in 2010, E-Circle have been actively involved in female and youth capacity development and mentorship, particularly in schools. From hosting workshops, seminars and conferences, to developing a Training Academy to raise leaders in different spheres of society, who were once ordinary school students. E-Circle has hosted programs like the Female leadership development Academy, The Uncommon woman, The E - Code program for career development, Beauty Pageant Leadership training, The Blue Print Program, as well as the Youth Empowerment Project (YEP), passing over 2000 young people through our system. We have worked with students from the University of Lagos, Unilag Medical School, Yaba college of technology, to youths living in communities, as well as graduates.
